About Sorbenta, Inc. - Innovators in PFAS removal

Our Mission

At Sorbenta Inc., we are dedicated to developing innovative sorbents that effectively remove harmful 'forever chemicals' known as PFAS from a broad range of waters globally. Our goal is to provide effective water treatment solutions that protect both public health and the environment.

Our Technology - Superior PFAS removal

Hands holding a pile of clear plastic pellets.

Superior PFAS removal capacity

Bench- and pilot-scale results demonstrate that our approach achieves greater PFAS removal per unit mass of sorbent compared to leading commercial carbons and ion exchange resins. This enhanced efficiency leads to less frequent media replacement and lower operation and maintenance costs.

Superior selectivity for PFAS

Innovative sorbent design for PFAS selectivity over background co-constituents enables effective performance in diverse water matrices, including drinking water contaminated with forever chemicals.

Broad spectrum PFAS removal

Patent-protected innovations enable effective removal of both short-chain and long-chain PFAS of diverse chemistries.

Drop-in solution

Sorbenta's sorbents are drop-in replacements for ion exchange resins and are compatible with existing water treatment infrastructure, enabling  seamless technology transition.

Platform technology

Platform technology enables tailoring sorbent performance to meet customers' needs for effective water purification.
